The 2^nd Session of the 11^th National People's Congress and the 2^nd Session of the 11^th National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of the People's Republic of China will begin on March 5 and March 3 respectively. The Commissioner's Office of China's Foreign Ministry in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as of today, February 5, 2009, starts to accept applications of foreign correspondents in Hong Kong. The Commissioner's Office shall notify the relevant correspondents once the applications are approved.

Information of applying for and collecting Press Cards for the NPC and CPPCC sessions can be found at www.npc.gov.cn/pc/11_2 and www.cppcc.gov.cn . The Information Center for the NPC and CPPCC sessions is located at the Media Center, North Block, West Chang'an Street, Beijing.
