Commissioner Lu sat down with Ming Pao editor  in an interview on November 27th, in which he introduced the Commissioner's Office role in Hong Kong under the Basic Law, and the Three Brands it has been promoting. The Three Brands refer to the three high-profile programmes of the Commissioner's Office: Open Day, the Hong Kong Cup Diplomatic Knowledge Contest and the Foreign Policy Lecture Series. Commissioner Lu also elaborated on what is public diplomacy and how Hong Kong people can contribute their share to China's diplomacy.
