The fire alarm went off at 4:30 in the building. The Commissioners and the staff members were immediately evacuated through fire exits and reached the assembly point. All the participants took the drill very seriously and followed standard evacuations rules, which was highly appreciated by the fire fighters.



Officers from the Central Fire Station and the Citybase Property Management Company employers demonstrated the use of the fire extinguisher and the officers explained the functions of the fire truck. After the drill, the participants attended a presentation on fire preparedness and evacuation knowledge.



The drill received great support from the Central Fire Station and the Citybase Property Management Company and the Fire Station Director was on the site to give instructions. Through the exercise, the participants increased their awareness of fire prevention, located the fire exits in the building, learnt the basic self-rescue and evacuation knowledge and how to use the extinguisher and understood how the tire truck operates. The fire drill was a great success.
