On July 25, 2008, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Jieyi met with Faryar Shirzad, managing director at Goldman Sachs serving as Global Head of the Office of Government Affairs. Both sides exchanged views on issues of common concern including Sino-U.S. relations and bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
