On October 27, 2008, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with visiting President of Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Luis Alberto Moreno. Both sides exchanged views on China-IDB cooperation, the current international economic and financial situation, as well as other international and regional issues of common concern.
