On the evening of November 19, 2008, Vice Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng and Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun, on behalf of the Chinese Follow-up Action Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), gave a dinner in honor of diplomatic envoys to China from African countries in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. The Chinese side thanked for the envoys’ positive contributions to China-Africa relations, especially to the FOCAC’s development over the past year. The Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Action Committee also briefed the envoys on the sixth senior officials meeting of the FOCAC.
