On January 18, 2013, the Commissioner’s Office had a get-together with the General Consulate of Vietnam in Hong Kong to celebrate the 63th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Vietnam. Commissioner Song Zhe and Vietnam’s Consul General Nguyen Thi Nha each made an address. The two sides praised the comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation between China and Vietnam and expressed commitment to work together for the deepening and development of China-Vietnam relations and exchanges and cooperation between Hong Kong and Vietnam.
