The Department of Treaty and Law is responsible for the handling of matters relating to bilateral and multilateral treaties and other legal issues concerning Hong Kong, and going through the procedures for authorization documents necessary for the Hong Kong SAR Government to negotiate or conclude bilateral and international treaties.
