Dear Sir or Madam,

The 17th CPC National Congress will be convened in October in Beijing. The Commissioner's Office of China's Foreign Ministry in Hong Kong SAR starts to accept applications of foreign correspondents based in Hong Kong. Applicants are kindly requested to provide the files including application letter provided by the media you represent, the introduction of the media, your resume and a copy of your passport through fax at 00852-21066153 before September 25th 2007 (Enquiry telephone number: 00852-21066157, 00852-21066169). The Commissioner's Office shall notify the relevant correspondents once the applications are approved.

The schedule of the CPC National Congress and the ways for registering and collecting the journalist card will be informed later.
