The 1st Session of the 11th National People's Congress and the 1st Session of the 11th National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of the People's Republic of China will begin on March 5th and March 3rd respectively. The Commissioner's Office of China's Foreign Ministry in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as of today, February 13, 2008, starts to accept applications of foreign correspondents in Hong Kong. The Commissioner's Office shall notify the relevant correspondents once the applications are approved.

The exact time and contact information to collect Press Cards for the NPC and CPPCC sessions will be informed later. The Information Center for the NPC and CPPCC sessions is located at the Media Center, North Block, West Chang'an Street, Beijing.
